Site slogan/tagline
After upgrading a site from 4.0.6 to 4.0.7, HTML tags in the site slogan (<txp:site_slogan />
) are getting Textiled (I guess; HTML special characters are getting converted somewhere). Is this as it should be? I didn’t see anything about this in HISTORY.txt.

Re: Site slogan/tagline
OK, so <txp:site_slogan />
is indeed applying htmlspecialchars
before output, and I presume this is new behavior in 4.0.7. Easy enough for me to work around, as I only ever have one <txp:site_slogan />
tag on a website, and can simply replace it with my marked-up slogan. Any possibility of giving <txp:site_slogan />
the escape
attribute? Just askin’…

Re: Site slogan/tagline
site_slogan isn’t textiled, just html-escaped, which is intentional. No escape attribute planned, because it’s not just used for the site_slogan tag, but also in other places where site_slogan is expected to be plain text instead of HTML.
