Textpattern CMS 4.0.7 released
A few days ago, it occurred to me that some very successful open source projects have a habit of assigning clever nicknames to their releases: Intrepid Ibex or Hoary Hedgehog, Stan Getz and Ella Fitzgerald.
So, what would keep us from adopting this scheme to Textpattern? We entered an extensive brain storming session to come up with an unprecedented creative naming scheme. Regrettably, with poor results: Even after long minutes of hard thinking, only the likes of Bruce Wayne or Clark Kent and even Alfred E. Neuman sprung to mind. We quickly decided not to spend any further time on that idea and name our latest release in accordance with our long-lasting tradition:
