categories stick to section

I just created a category called Team for my about section, yet I can access this same category for other sections too? So say /portfolio/team/

I don’t want this to happen! Help? x

Maybe I’m missing something but all those plugins are for displaying category lists? I’m wanting to tie a category to a section, so that it ONLY works with that section. x

I’m afraid the best you can do is to use something like <txp:article_custom section="section name" category="category name" />. Categories are designed to cross sections and, as pointed out in the thread, that does have its advantages.
