Ubuntu Package

I have been assigned to add some sort of gallery capability to a preexisting Textpattern system, and needed a way to test their functionality without messing with the actual site directly. I was surprised to find that Textpattern is actually in the Ubuntu repositories, so I simply installed it from there to my system, and it apperently installed auto-configured all the various server components like an SQL database and all the assorted logins and passwords. However, I do not know where exactly the site is so that I can start editing it. Where should I point my browser to on my computer to find Textpattern?

Re: Ubuntu Package

I haven’t done it the way your describing but I have installed textpattern on Ubuntu using Apache and MySQL. I doubt it would start apache for you automatically. Check help.ubuntu.com for info on Running Apache, PHP and mySQL.
