Resrticting access to the textpattern directory
Does anyone have a method for ipaddress restricting access to the /textpattern directory and login to the admin panel without breaking access to the sub parts (CSS etc).
I tried ip restriction via the apache2 virtual host but this breaks the access the CSS config file.
Does moving the css out of the /textpattern directory cause other problems with the core of the system.
Any help appreciated.

Re: Resrticting access to the textpattern directory
You can use rvm_css to serve the css as a static file.

Re: Resrticting access to the textpattern directory
Is there anything else that might break by ip restricting access to the textpattern folder other than the sites css?

Re: Resrticting access to the textpattern directory
I think that every other request is routed to index.php.

No, the css is accesed from the client, not from the server.

Re: Resrticting access to the textpattern directory
Would ip restricting access to the textpattern folder break the RSS feed in any way?
