ign_password_protect vs rvm_privileged

whats the difference between the two?

what do they do differently, whats the advantages of each, the disadvantages of each. and would you use them together?

I don’t know ign_password_protect all that well but my understanding is that with ign_password_protect you can create password-restricted access areas without providing access to the back end of txp (set to use its own ign_user database table in the prefs). You can also test for privs = none. rvm_privileged works with txp admin privileges only.
