Re: Local electrician gains web presence

Nice tiny site with huge jQuery pluging (comparing size of site’s html and jQuery’s code). But site still is nice – may be you should fill it with some little info? For examples, photo of made work? I meen normal gallery, not shuffle cycling.

P.S. Idea with 404 is nice :)

Thanks. Yeah, it’s a monster isn’t it. Like you say, if he can get pictures of work he’s done I could eventually add them to a proper gallery page and justify the huge javascript library!

I am also going to talk to him about testimonials and more general info, like an FAQ, as suggested above. That content can be added as time progresses and more people get to know him.

Incidentally, one of the reasons I suggested putting pictures of himself up on the site is that anyone who sees the site can see what he looks like so when he turns up at their door they can be sure it’s him and not some fly-by-night rogue trader with a fake ID badge. It’s a small detail, but important in this age and hopefully more reassuring.

I’ll be adding more pics as and when I get a chance to go over to his house and take some.
