All images uploaded have a URL associated with image name, how to...
I’m not liking how whenever I upload an image, it gets saved as image 1, then 2 for the next, etc. Is there anyway to change this so that when the file is uploaded, the URL is like: images/nameofpicture.jpg? Thanks for reading.

It would require you to make a couple changes in Textpattern’s source code. This would be a difficult change to maintain, because it would be re-written on subsequent upgrades. I’d start by looking at txp_image.php in the textpattern/include folder.

And you’d have to add safeguards to avoid illegal filenames and duplicate filenames.
