Open articles in Popup?

Hi everybody.
I am working on a project for which it is necessary to have all articles from a certain section opened in popup windows.
It`s not an image gallery…

I`m not a huge fan of popups in general and prefer keeping all information at ground level, but a popup is desired here so i have to deal with it. I quickly checked out this method but it didnt work out for me, just got php errors…

http://johan.galaxen.net/logg/160/creating-article-popups-in-textpattern

additionally to it not working, i am looking for a way to make the title of the article the link to open the popup, which means a container tag is needed (if i`m not mistaken). any way to solve this? scratched my head a while now until i figured i might look for some nice people to help me out, and if it is a headsup that “its not gonna work”… Thanks!

Re: Open articles in Popup?

to be honest, i am not really sure if jquery dialog is what i am looking for as i am not that experienced with java and “real programming”.
but the link you pointed me to looked really interesting with some great user friendly results, will have another look at it asap.

what i am basically looking for is a “simple” plugin that allows me to insert a tag (quite similar to what would be achieved by using the script i linked to above), only that the tag needs to be a container tag so i can wrap it around let`s say <txp:title />

thanks everyone for helping.
