Previewing/Submitting Comments in "_self"

Hey y’all

Pretty new to this textpattern game and I might have tried something a bit too advanced already, however everything went quite easily up until now …

I’m working at poopoo-style.be, textpattern is only used in the scrollable div here, the rest of the website around it is in another directory.

All seems to work just fine this way, but a rather big problem arises when I comment on an article (or just preview it), instead of opening the page in the current scrollable div it opens it in what I can best describe as “_parent”, thus in the entire window and not just the div … (you can give it a try, if you like)

So my question basically is … how do I get the preview and submit buttons to open the page in the current page/div (_self)?

would greatly appreciate some help here, as I’ve been stuck on this for more than a day now and can’t seem to find the answer anywhere …

It sounds like you’re trying to “embed” Textpattern, which isn’t how it was designed to be used, and means that you’ll encounter various problems such as the one you’re describing.

that’s what I was thinking :) but I figured since I’m only using kind of basic functionality (comments are the most advanced thing I need here :)) it might work … :)
thanks for your comment anyway .. ideas are still welcome, in the mean time I’ll be searching for a different solution ..
