r2930 - First Post does not display properly
Probably nothing to do with the revision I’m on but I though I should bring the_ghost’s problem over here as I can confirm his trouble. The first post currently included in the download does not display correctly after install. All the bullet points are missing from the lists (li) and the code is deemed invalid at W3C. I have found though that simply re-saving the article fixes all the problem and I can also say that this occurs both on my XAMPP install and on my host server (whether that is relevant I don’t know but I thought I’d mention it).

Re: r2930 - First Post does not display properly
Maybe the problem occures because textile doesn’t parses the firs post? I mean that “parsed” version of body was “hardcoded” into db?

Re: r2930 - First Post does not display properly
Well what the problem may be is that the post is injected into the database in html format only and it requires the “re-save” to create the textiled version. Maybe a textiled version needs to be injected as well but I’m not the expert on this. I’m not sure if it may be possible to force a “Save” during install or at first login??

Just tried to validate – errors. Resaved first-post – valid xhtml page :)

Both versions are created by the setup scripts, so apparently the HTML version is not created correctly there.

Ah, so it’s the other way around then, the textile version is correct (I have to say I couldn’t see anything wrong with it in the Write screen) and the re-save corrects the HTML version. I presume that can be fixed? Probably all that “escaping” you have to do?
