theWhiteSquare site makeover

I’ve joined a new design agency called theWhiteSquare, and, naturally enough, ripped out the old flash site and put Textpattern under the hood.

theWhiteSquare

If anyone’s interested, I’ll be adding a blog post very soon laying out why we chose Textpattern and how we went about designing / developing the new site.

Plugins used:

asy_wondertag
chh_if_data
chh_title
jk_neighbour
rah_metas
rss_admin_show_adv_opts
zem_contact_reborn

Any feedback most welcome.

Re: theWhiteSquare site makeover

Oh that’s sweet.

Nice and clean layout with stuff where you expect and good links to related material when reading an article. And very focused copy too.

The only thing with having the menu bar at the bottom is that sometimes non-full-screeners like me have to scroll to reach it on some pages (e.g. on the slightly longer what-we-do page) but the breadcrumb nav at the top is a nice touch in that regard. The menu is only usually a single notch of the down-wheel away, so it’s not much hardship.

I really like it. Works solidly, feels sturdy and instils trust in your own brand, which is a must in that line of work. Put it this way, if I had the cash to hire you guys I’d see if you could help position my record label. I want to build brands for our artists but I’m cack at marketing and your site gives me the confidence that you would do a good job.

Wicked stuff!

Bloke,
Thanks for those very generous comments. The nav at the bottom is controversial, but something I think we can justify (another blog post coming I think).

And in all seriousness, get in touch – it might be mutally beneficial.
