sorting articles by custom field

Hi,

I can use <txp:article sort="custom_3 asc" /> to sort my articles based on a custom field. But, is there a way I can do the same referring to the custom field by name?

Suppose that custom_3 is called state, I’d like to do something like <txp: article sort="state asc" />.

Is there a way to do this?

You need to use the name as it appears in the database.
