Restructure of KingsDesign

Have been working on my website the last couple of days.
Added new social bookmarking plugin as well as JQuery for my new portfolio section.

Can you give me a clue as to what does not look right.

You mean every button has a break to the next line?
Or bad display of the buttons?

Answer is appreciated so I can fix it before I’m on a pc again somewhere next week.

Cheers Rik

Haha that was perfect timing.
I have been working on the css for like 2 minutes and changes the body background from that one image to a repeat-y of the new background as is on the site now. :)
Cheers anyway

Re: Restructure of KingsDesign

Website has been tested in all major browsers and css is standard compliant now.
But with Chrome just being released I might have a look at it again. hehe

Rik, I hate to be picky but Safari Tidy throws up 11 warnings for your home page.

If you run it through Total Validator you’ll see what I mean.

Re: Restructure of KingsDesign

Yeah, as gomedia said there is some validation errors:

  • images are left open: <img.*> should be <img.*/>
  • There is block elements inside inline elements. In example: <a.*><h1>.*</h1></a>, when it should be <h1><a.*>.*</a></h1>
  • Also one div is open when it should not.
  • Also what is this <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>? Isn’t actually needed as the page is XHTML, not pure XML.

But not too much errors :-) Keep it up.
