how can we "re-order" our images ?
Hello,
When you add a new image in the image tab, TXP put a new ID with the date, hour, and we can’t modify this values.
Lots of image plugin, and <txp:image_index /> too, displayed and sort all of the images by their ID : is it correct ?
If so, how can we “re-order” our images ?

How about using article tags and article_image, and having the power of all the sort-options of articles?
In bad weather I never leave home without wet_plugout, smd_where_used and adi_form_links

uli : specifically, my request is to order images that can be displayed “naturally” by <txp:image_index /> or <txp:bas_lightbox />.

I never realized that we can sort everything except images… From bas_lightbox I switched to upm_image and wet_for_each_image and slimbox, using these two plugins gives a much better control over the output.

Els, thanks for your experience switch.
With bas_lightbox, you can also sort manually your images with <txp:bas_lightbox img="42,38,3,59" />, I can do that.
But my question was to modify Textpattern images order, so that we can change the ID or the date,hour of each image : we can do it in an article, so perhaps we need a plugin that allow us to change the date in the image tab !

Short term, this could be a plugin : I’ll try this way, if someone have some ideas to help me ;-)
