installation issues
Hello and thanks for any help in advance.
I just installed textpattern on my laptop to test on and everything went without a hitch. I went to the sample site and tried to click any of the links on the page and received 404 errors on all of them.
I used the admin panel to publish a new article and it worked no problem.
I cannot find the php files for the ‘about’ and ‘articles’ pages in finder. Did I do something wrong?
The structure is as follows.
http://127.0.0.1/~me/textpattern-4.0.6 -which takes me to ‘My site’
http://127.0.0.1/~me/textpattern-4.0.6/textpattern -which takes me to the admin panel.
-I am sorry if this is a ridiculous question, I did try the ‘search’ before posting.

Nevermind, it is because I do not have my .htaccess updated for clean URLs.
-in the admin panel under preferences/basic, I had to choose ‘?messy’.
