General redirect

Many moons ago I used to use the “section/id/title” mode for URLs on thebombsite but switched to “section/title”. I am still getting requests in the original mode (I thought these would have stopped by now cuz we are going back a bit here) so I’m wondering if there is some .htaccess redirect or whatever that can be used to remove the “id” portion and point them to the right place? At the moment they just end up with a 404. Both “section” and “title” portions of the URL would remain the same.

Re: General redirect

Flipin’ ‘eck Sven. I downloaded and installed that ages ago and never switched it on as there was no help text so I didn’t know what to do with it. Just read the article on Zem’s site and it does this automatically. Dumb or what?
