Category problem
Hi,
I’m actually using a tamplate for text pattern as I’m really new to this.
I tried to figure out the problem on why my my articles doesn’t appear after I click on the anime link.
There is 2 articles link to Anime but none appeared.
My life one works well…
http://www.nubworks.net/ina/category/My-Life/
http://www.nubworks.net/ina/category/Anime/
code:
<txp:category_list break=“li” label=“Categories” labeltag=“strong” this_section=“0” type=“article” parent=“My-Life” wraptag=“ul” />
pls help. Thanks!

Re: Category problem
Your site is not accessible:
Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /ina/category/My-Life/ on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
So it’s hard to say why the category links don’t work. But start with changing the category names to lowercase: ‘my-life’ and ‘anime’.

Re: Category problem
does changing to lowercase work better?
that’s odd.
I’m able to access it somehow…
http://www.nubworks.net/ina/category/my-life/
http://www.nubworks.net/ina/category/anime/
tried but the anime section is still blank as ever.
Are you able to access it? Cos I was trying out something, that’s why you couldn’t access just now.

Re: Category problem

It’s not always a problem if category or section names have capitals, but sometimes it can be. So it’s better to use lowercase. But in your case it doesn’t seem to be the problem.
I keep getting a 403 Forbidden for your site.
Otherwise try if this FAQ helps, if it doesn’t post a tag trace (the FAQ tells where you can find it).

Re: Category problem
403 forbidden.
That’s really funny.
Just out of curiousity.
You only get that error while accessing the category or it applies even for the main page nubworks.net/ina too?

Well I’m just getting blank pages for everything except the front site ie. http://www.nubworks.net/

Re: Category problem
I am (still) getting 403 Forbidden for all pages: nubworks.net, nubworks.net/ina/, the category pages… (with or without www…)

Re: Category problem
ohh..
I think I know the problem to it. Forgot I did some IP denial configuration the last time.
ELS >> shld be okay now.
thebombsite >> I can’t figure the problem why it’s not appear properly on your side. I installed everything properly though. I put it on testing and debugging mode but there is no error shown.
I’m using LENKA layout btw.

Re: Category problem
Does seem odd. I am seeing the front site no problem and can navigate around it. It’s just when I go into the sub-directory site I get the blank pages.

Re: Category problem
omg.
Is this the textpattern problem or mine?
what about nubworks.net/blog?
if you can access it then I think it’s the text pattern causing the problem..

Re: Category problem
great!! Thought it was just my side that I’m seeing everything is okay.
JM>> are you able to see the problem with /ina/category/anime/?
the whole left navi shifted over (not suppose to) and I have 2 articles tagged under anime but it’s not appearing.
