MySQL: "#1062 - Duplicate entry '14' for key 1"
I have just downloaded the database from my remote site, and I now want to import this database into my local phpMyAdmin.
Usually it’s very easy, but this time I get an error message saying “#1062 – Duplicate entry ‘14’ for key 1”.
I have no idea what this means, do you? I haven’t personally made any changes to the database at all, I’ve only been working in Textpattern’s back end.
Any ideas?

It means that your local database already had Textpattern tables in it before you imported. You’ll need to either drop/empty them, or create another database to use (depending on what you want done with the original data).

Re: MySQL: "#1062 - Duplicate entry '14' for key 1"
Thank you, Mary! – I guess it has been to long since that I did this the last time, as I don’t recall having to drop/empty any tables earlier.
Another (silly) question: After copying the textpattern files from my remote site to my local computer, Textpattern’s pre-flight check gives me a huge list of Textpattern files that have been modified. I just downloaded the files directly via ftp, isn’t that the right way to do it? The site works fine though.

Is the checksums file the same as the one on your remote site?

Yes, both the database and all the files on my computer are exact copies of the database and files from the remote site.
I am going to upgrade to 4.0.6, maybe that will fix it.

Yes, upgrading to 4.0.6 fixed it. But for some reason the “Logout” is aligned to the left now. :-) But it works, it’s alive!
I really like that updating Textpattern is so easy.
