[request] summary fields for Sections & Categories

In the site I’m working on at the moment each section has a single-line summary, that will be used in a few scenarios, but mainly

1. title attribute of anchor in main menu
2. intro paragraph on section homepages

I’ve made a unique Form to store each bit of copy for easier re-use & editing, but it would be nice if it were possible to save this information next to the relevant entry in the Sections tab – to output something like <txp:section_summary />.

Likewise, I’d find a way to save summary text for categories pretty invaluable at the moment – there are 50+ to handle (and counting).

Previously I’ve used stickies to present section & category page summaries, but on the current project I need to use stickies for featured articles, and can’t do both as far as I can see.

I could also do without having the summary articles in the Articles tab, because it could be a high volume site, and the summaries will get buried.
