JavaScript SlimBox on Textpattern

Hey everybody.

I’m currently working on my second Textpattern site and I was hoping for a little help on how to use javascript.

My site is digitalskraps.com and on it I use the slimbox script to showcase my portfolio samples. I want to keep this feature but I’m not sure where to put the files and all that. the set up instructions says some images have to be in the same folder as a css file.

Is there a way to do this through Textpattern or should i just upload it to the server and put the link information in the header of the pages like i would a static site?

I read some guy did this through the txp css tag and i think he had people putting the JS inside a css file or something. I’d like to do it the correct way.

help would be appreciated!

Re: JavaScript SlimBox on Textpattern

If you have big problems with CSS and JS placing, you could use a plugin that does things for you. Textpattern does have a lot of slimbox kind plugins:

In example: smd_slimbox

But to your question. No, it’s not required to put them to same folder. Just change the CSS’s path, background images’ paths and so on. For the js file you could use txp’s file uploading, FTP or stm_javascript

Cheers!
