article image caption
why is there no output to the already existing backend input field?
I sometimes destructively reverse engineer my own work and the only help is this forum.

It is used as the image’s title attribute.

title attributes are definitely published. article_image by default outputs both alt and title attributes even if you don’t specify them (would just be “” if left blank)

It is published as the title attribute – article_image and image. Are you sure there is a caption on the images? Additionally, are you running 4.0.5? 4.0.3 did not publish the caption.
