Newsletter Program - Even out of bound of Textpattern

Hi all,

I am looking for a very good Newsletter Program in PHP that I can use in my site for managing my newsletters and sending them to my hundreds of subscribers.

I couldn’t handle it with “Postmaster”, and I decided it to use this Newsletter Program apart from TextPattern site.

Please tell me if you have used a newsletter program and you think it is best in managing, robust and reliable in email sending.

Any help!

Thanks.

I was experimenting with different ones some years back and fond that phplist is the best one. I also wrote a short tutorial explaining how it could be incorporated with txp

I’ve been eyeing Swiftmailer for a while now. It doesn’t have an interface (which is one reason why I think it would make a good partner to work with Postmaster) but seems very thorough.

Been using listmessenger on several client sites for quite a while now. I would highly recommend checking them out. The website doesn’t look so great, but the app is pretty tight.

thank you Tom, I tried the demo and I think i like it for being simple and intutive …

that was actually one thing that I hated in phplist, which is so stuffed.

I hope it dont dissapoint me in design and mail sending department.

Thanks a lot !

Sorry about that. I’ve never used the free version.
The full version is well worth $50 bucks or so.

Does postmaster have a limitation on the number of subscribers or the emails it sends?

colak,

No, Postmaster does not have a limitation.

fas.khan,

I know you said it has to be PHP, but if not, Dada Mail is a nice perl script I’ve used before.

Oh, oh, oh…

For anyone on a Mac, try Direct Mail – unfortunately I haven’t had much time to use it yet, but it looks so wonderfully promising! Plus, the developer is super-nice!
