Comment system not working

Hi all,

seems like my comment system is broken. The message field will get emtpied every time the form is sent. This was probably introduced when I upgraded to 4.0.4, because I got no comments since then and haven’t changed anything after that.

I just upgraded to 4.0.5, but it still won’t work. Where can I start to find the problem? TXP diagnostics report no error, Apache error log doesn’t either. I have no comment plugin installed.

just tested your commenting. first thing that seemed to be odd was that if i tried to leave a blank message, it would tell me “Please enter a comment” twice. so something is probably off with how your comment form is setup.

Mmh.. possible. Maybe it stopped working in 4.0.4. If you are using the default comment form, could you paste it here?

I am now using the default form.. that did the trick.
