wordpress -> textpattern conversion problem

Hi!

I’m trying to get data from wp to my txp.
And the import script doesn’t work with 2.3.1 Wordpress because, in the database there isn’t post2cat table, but there is wp_terms, wp_term_relationships and wp_term_taxonomy tables, and those includes categories and also tags.
And also I didnt get the full stories of all the posts…

The importer hasn’t been updated in a while, and certainly not since the latest WP update.

I noticed that, and I tried to “fix” it but I failed, so I’m asking people of this forum to help me.

hmm just curious what is the latest version of WP the importer works with?

i have no idea how anyone is going to keep this up to date seeing as WP changes their setup every other day.

Try using the latest (development) version of the importer:

Ok thank, but I run into problems, when I tried to convert, nothin else happened except this error msg:

hmm it works but but… I think it has a problem with scandinavian letters ä and ö and here is some example:

This is Finnish and it’s the way it should be shown in txt
