Creating new Author - meil with password not sent - problem

helo
when i create new author in Site Admin (giving them priviliges) and saving them i take error somthing like this:

Warning: mail() [function.mail]: Bad parameters to mail() function, mail not sent. in /textpattern/lib/txplib_misc.php on line 916

and txp message is somthing like this “cannot send mail to author”.
any idea whats go wrong?

Can you post data that caused that failure? — Or, if that would compromise a username and/or email address, can you post some data that can be used to reproduce the error.

thanks for reply. I find the solution: the problem was the format of the mail header, which is not suported by my hosting campany:(
