How to set txp up so that it uses old tables
the textpattern folder on my server was deleted .. I wanted to ask if anyone could tell me (if it’s possible) how do I set the whole thing up again, but so that it accesses and uses the old tables from the MySQL database..
I can see that all the data is still there and it would make a great deal if someone could help me figure out how to do this so that I don’t have to do everything again

If it was just deleted, then:
- Upload a new
textpattern/folder - Create a file,
textpattern/config.php - Insert the relevant values for your db info

I have done that but it doesn’t work
“Textpattern database table already exist. Can’t run setup.”
I wanna use the old tables with the information that’s already there so I wont loose everything :/

Don’t rerun your setup script, just provide the details in config.php same as the one that was deleted and TXP should be able to see the tables already present.

You should probably remove the setup script from your re-install — cleans up the diagnostic output a little at least.

Also you might need to update the language
Admin>Preferences>Language
