TXP clean url's and win 32 apache
This is my first post so I hope some one can help!
I have been developing our txp site on my mac locally, everything has been going brilliant. Now the problems begin, our server is a windows 2003 service pack 2 server with txp 4.0.5. I have imported the txp site onto the server and cannot get clean url’s to work. There are two preflight checks saying theres a problem with the dns, I haven’t enabled it yet to be seen from the outside world and the other is clean url’s failed.
The mod rewrite is enabled in the httpd.conf file, I’ve tried removing the comments suggested in the htaccess file I have also tried changing the reference from Japanese encoding to utf-8 encoding in the httpd.conf file as well, but I have had no luck in getting clean url’s to work.
Can someone please help!!!!

Sorted it myself just have to change allowoveride fromnone to all in the httpdconf file.
- AllowOverride controls what directives may be placed in .htaccess files.
- It can be “All”, “None”, or any combination of the keywords:
- Options FileInfo AuthConfig Limit
# AllowOverride All
