Conditional AdSense Plugin
Hi,
I’ve done a plugin that implements “conditional” AdSense for Textpattern: meaning that if certain conditions are meet the AdSense units are shown.
Those conditions include filters on the user agent (I choose to show adds for IE users), referer keywords (if the Referer has the word “search”, the adds are on) and a simple get clause (if certain parameters are passed in the URL again we show adds).
With this plugin, you can use some txp tags that will be replaced by units of adds.
You can see it here with adds and the same page without adds. Remember, with IE, you get them always :)
If anyone will find such thing useful, I’m willing to release it under an open-source license (probably GPL) in one or two weeks, because I need to do some cleanup first (see Google TOS).

Does it allow you to hide ads from a specific IP or person (cookie based)? That would help prevent site owners from getting google banned from accidental clicks.
