Updated search and pagination
New:
- Search now uses the built-in database indexer (should be faster and more reliable) rather than the custom PunBB engine. The downside is you can’t search for terms shorter than 4 characters (such as “php”).
- Navigation links now have “prev” and “next” links in addition to the individual page numbers.

On this page, the next > links all point to the second page in the topic. It would make more sense to have last > links there that point to the last page.

Is it just me being dull? I keep clicking ‘next’ instead of ‘New posts’…
But on the topic pages it is nice to have the ‘next’ links, thanks.

Okay, the fulltext search mod I found kinda screwed up the search in some new ways, and I think I’ve fixed them now. Let me know if search is still broken (and give details as to what you searched for).

Something else broke now. The show_24h page no longer shows the most recent last posts at the top. That makes it much harder to track the new posts when you’re trying to check frequently for new posts.
And the next > links on that show_24h page still point to the second page of posts in a topic, which should be changed to last > and point to the last page of posts in a topic.

Using Search from the menu, for ‘rss feed’, search everything with default settings brings results that are not latest first, like they used to. Changing ‘relevancy’ to ‘time posted’ gets closer but is still not accurate, when the third field is topics. It’s OK when using posts instead of topics.
