"active_class" still buggy?
According to the changelog, active_class in section_list/category_list was fixed with 4.0.5.
However, it still doesn’t seem to work as intended with 4.0.5.
The active category link is only “flagged” with the correct class name, if the category name is LOWERCASE.
When it starts with an uppercase letter, it just does not work (took me quite some time to figure this out)
I am using 4.0.5…

Re: "active_class" still buggy?
Why would you want to use uppercase in category names anyway?
To the devs: wouldn’t it be better if section and category names were always forced into lowercase? because this uppercase/lowercase issue with names keeps playing up.

For obvious reasons:
If you create a new category in the TXP backend, you will enter the category title – TXP then automatically creates the category name for the database (which is without spaces and some special characters). The category title you would want to enter will most certainly start with a capital letter – as on almost every website.
Therefore, you will have to edit the category name by hand afterwards. Not a big problem for me as the admin, but sort of a small nuisance still.
However, I will have different authors on this TXP project (including some, who are rather computer illiterate), who should be able to add/delete/modify categories by themselves. And the decision to implement the site with Textpattern was solely mine… the more complex the solution(s) get, the less accepted by the other authors… (and if problems and difficulties arise, they will get back to me for support…)
