IE7 doesn't read CSS

I have a problem. I created a webpage and a CSS on my mac. Now, when I upload that files to a webserver, apparantly only IE can’t read the CSS. Is there something wrong with encoding of the files?

Edit: it also doesn’t work in IE when I just put the files on my PC. So it is not the encoding of the Cyberduck FTP app.
