Broken lists
I’ve seen the post here (http://forum.textpattern.com/viewtopic.php?id=23997) which I think might be the same issue, but wondering if anyone can confirm for me if it’s the case.
I’m using Textile formatting within an Expression Engine installation, and have been successfully for some time. Recently I’ve been having issues with the last list item in an unordered list becoming it’s own unordered list, enclosing the element following it too. An example – view source on this page:
http://www.resqcs.co.uk/index.php/test
The Textile HTML for this was simply an h3, followed by a ul, followed by an h3, followed by a paragraph. You can see how it’s being mangled. As I say, it’s worked fine till very recently, on the same site on the same server.
My server is running PHP 5.2.4. Lord knows what version of Textile Expression Engine is running – an old one I’d wager.
If anyone can let me know if it’s a known issue, and what I can do about it, I’d be really grateful.
Many, many thanks.

Re: Broken lists
I think that the latest classTextile.php as changed by Mary sorts out the problem.

Re: Broken lists
I’m having the same problem, but how do I update Textile? The Textile homepage is not available.
Do I just need to paste the code from the above link into classTextile.php?
I’m using Textpattern 4.0.5.

Yes, or just manually apply the changes shown in changeset 2640

Re: Broken lists
Next question: Under ‘Pre-flight check’ TXP now says ‘Some Textpattern files have been modified:
/lib/classTextile.php’. I like things to be nice and clean, so is there any way to hide this message? :-)

Remove line 25 from textpattern/checksums.txt that says /lib/classTextile.php: rxxxx (xxxxxxxxxxxxx)
Cheers!

Re: Broken lists
Suppressing diagnostic messages is not a good idea, because if there’s a problem and you’re asked to post the diagnostics, it has to be accurate. The file is modified, so diagnostics should say so ;)
