a gallery where visitors can upload pictures
so… here I am.
I would like that visitors can upload/attach pictures to an article, they do not need an account, perhaps I’d be great to moderate them… but it’s not essential to begin with.
Comments could do the job, by allowing them to post pictures. But comments are already there for…errr… comments…so I’d like to have something similar but separate from textpattern commenting system.
I look at some of the gallery plugins but, I haven’t seen anything that could fit…
Any ideas?

I was thinking… maybe I could save myself some troubles and just host the address to an image, hosted in their space…
Can anonymous users add/use custom fields?

I think that would be a bad Idea.
You host an address to something, that you don’t have complete control over.
What is it, that you host ?
What, if it contains some vulnerable code ?
How do you make sure, that you have excluded all of the above ?
I don’t know, if the above plugin is up to what you need, but it might be close to.
May be it needs to modified. Hoever contact the Developper doesn’t harm anyone.
Hotlinking also slows pageload down, remember this gravatar problem ( supposedly to be resolved ) ?
