[request] creating image categories from the image tab?
i suppose this would also apply to creating files in the files tab and articles in the articles tab but the image area is what im mostly looking for..
i’d like to be able to choose or create an image category as i upload images. as of now i’m stuck either having to pre-create all necessary image categories or face the excessive flipping back and forth the way its set up now.
as far as i know, no plugins exist to do this. would it be difficult? anyone up for it?

Doesn’t fpx_image_import do this already? so you don’t have to manually choose category for each image? from what I understand, you can upload images to import folder, and within import folder have subfolders with names = to your categories. On import it will then assign all the images in that subfolder to the category. Just a thought..

i believe it does. but i’m looking to stay away from having to show clients another program (ftp software) they’d have to learn in order to do what they want.
