Change post date/time

It’s been a while since I posted to my blog. I upgraded to v4.0.5 a couple of weeks ago. Today I posted a new article and I wanted to back-date it. I swear that I used to be able to do this but I can’t figure out how. I’ve read the FAQs and searched the TextBook wiki and can’t find how to do it. Perhaps that capability disappeared when I upgraded from v4.0.3. I searched the v4.0.5 released notes but saw nothing about it there. My guess is that I’m missing something obvious. Could someone tell me where to look?

What? If I understood you corretly, then:

You can change your article posting time at: Content / Write / More / Timestamp

Thanks! I knew it would be something simple. Somehow I just couldn’t see that More link there. Must have been in my blind spot.

Hi all,

I have the same problem. I cannot find the posting time. It’s not Content / Write / More / Timestamp either. I use rei_show_custom to show the custom fields. Can this be the cause?

No, because rei_show_custom isn’t an admin side plugin – so it doesn’t use admin side. But do you have some admin-side plugins installed?

I cannot find the posting time. It’s not Content / Write / More / Timestamp either.

Yes, it should be there. But if not:

1. Do you see the more link bottom of the write page?
2. Do your browser allow JavaScript?
3. TXP’s version?

Do you see the more link bottom of the write page?

More accurately: at the bottom of the right-hand column, next to the body and excerpt fields.

Found it! It overlooked the “More” link at the right-hand column.
