[wiki] Recent changes in the last 30 days, RSS feed

The last 30 days of recent changes at Textbook shows up with this link:

http://textbook.textpattern.net/wiki/index.php?title=Special:Recentchanges&days=30

When you tack on RSS to the URL, you get nothing:

http://textpattern.net/wiki/index.php?title=Special:Recentchanges&days=30&feed=rss

Is this a bug in MediaWiki?

Possibly. Is that something it’s supposed to do :)

Textbook got moved to a new server along with all the other TXP domains but there is some stuff plaguing it right now. User Login is timing out a lot. Filip (mamash) is working on it.

I don’t know, but I got to the URL by clicking 30 on the recent changes page and then clicking RSS on the left hand menu, so I didn’t created the URL myself.

That’s why I wondered if it’s a bug or a feature it wasn’t meant to have?

Yep, that is supposed to work – it used to, I’ve been using it to watch Textbook for a while now.

The Atom feed seems to work, so something definitely seems to be up.

I don’t really want to mess with it until I get word from Filip that the other issues are resolved. I should be updating to 1.10 soon anyway, which might hopefully fix it too.

I’ve decided I like keeping one version behind on MW since there seem to be less patches to keep up with. Maybe this new server will allow me to run the shell scripts making upgrades easier.

Hi,

I can’t get the last 30 days of activity to show up in the RSS or Atom feed.

It was working but has recently started ignoring the days=30 in the URL.

Hi Bert. Just seeing this. Off hand I don’t know. MW’s feed model is one thing I don’t know much about. Anyway, I can’t give it a look now and not until Monday at soonest. Maybe Patrick can beat me to it.
