samisdat 2.0

It’s a while ago, but samisdat is back :)

After a year i’m ready, today in Germany is cssNeustart

To celebrate this, i updated two plugins

I would love to hear about these to work and of course how do you like samisdat

I added over 3000 lines of plugin code to the site and now TXP can:

  • Tags
  • Bilingual English/German
  • Deliver articles and other stuff as JSON
  • Paginate articles and generate a table of content based on headings
  • Live commenting

Did i ever mention that i really love TXP for its flexibility? If not, i should!

If you had a minute or two, please have a look and tell:
Does it work? I’m not sure about all that AJAX, because i only have an aged linux laptop and so i’m am very limited about testing in various browsers.

Re: samisdat 2.0

I’ve had a look with Opera 8.5 and Firefox 2, Bastian, and there are no obvious broken things like there were the last time you posted. As before I love your colours, icons and the whole graphical side of the design. Navigation and what happens with Ajax off or on is still a bit unpredictable. I can never really guess what I am going to see when I click something.

I’ve just had a look in IE6 and it’s all broken. Feedback and the Samisdat link (top right) are the only clickable things. Here is a screenshot

I think you need to buy a cheap computer off a second-hand stall so you can test on more browsers, Bastian:-)

Re: samisdat 2.0

Looks great to me. Is fla_player plugin gonna be on there again?
I was unable to get the demos from your two new plugins to show but that could be the JS in my browser. Site looks great though
