Added plug-in "preferences" fields

There are some plug-ins that add additional fields to the “Advanced Preferences” tab. I have tried a couple such as “mem_self_reg” and “mem_recaptcha” and decided in the end not to use them so I have removed the plug-ins. However the additional fields remain in the tab. Is it possible to have these removed automatically when a plug-in is removed and in any case, is it possible for me to remove them manually?

Not automatically, but you can remove them using PHPmyAdmin or whatever tool you favor.

Re: Added plug-in "preferences" fields

Thanks ruud. Do you know where they would be in the database?

Re: Added plug-in "preferences" fields

I’d guess in the txp_prefs table. You can probably use phpmyadmin to search the name column for the preference name, which saves a lot of time compared to browsing the table manually..

Re: Added plug-in "preferences" fields

OK. I’ve got it all sorted manually without problem. :)
