Site for Non-Profit

Hey everyone, this is probably my first serious Textpattern site.

I’ve been playing around with it for a while but never grasped it quite as well until I started working on this. I’ve always thought Textpattern was fantastic and easy to use.

Anyway, on to the site : Equal Ground

I have to apologize for the bright pink links — they were not my choice of color. I expect the banner to change shortly into something more cliche so if you’re wondering what the original is that I made, here

I am using vdh_flickr for the Gallery section (which is not connecting at the moment) and I’m looking for a plugin to control the events section the way I have it setup now.

There’s quite a few gremlins to be fixed, some articles won’t display their author, the next and previous articles navigation doesn’t behave well and the flickr connection appears to be down (for the moment I hope). I suspect there was a server roll-back recently as my .htaccess file was dropped from the server so clean urls broke…

Anywya, let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions I’m all ears :)

I like the bright pink links. They add nicely to the header graphic, bold text and layout to give it all the feel of a human rights site. I’ve no suggestions, I think it’s fine as it is.
