session variables?

Does TextPattern have anything like session variables? I’d like to style the current item (section label) in my global navbar differently from the others.

Re: session variables?

See the “active_class” attribute on the <txp:section_list /> tag

Re: session variables?

If it’s for sections then the section_list tag supports that state.

If it’s for a custom article list on menu then this plugin works

Otherwise you can use RAW PHP in Textpattern provided you place it in the right tags, rather then standard php opening tags <txp:php> </txp:php>

For current nav highlighting I tend you use CSS and section tag in the body class.

<body class=”<txp:section />”>
