Contribute 4 / CS3 compatibility

Hi All,

I see that the latest version of Contribute allows it to work with popular blogging engines though i cant for the life of em find a definitive list of which ones. I wondered if anyone knew if or has any experience of using Textpattern with Contribute. Adobe state the following:

‘Adobe Contribute CS3 also works with content management systems that implement the MetaWeblog API for editing and authoring dynamic web content.’

The main reason for the query is that when developing for clients I find Contribute very very easy (for them) to use and them being able to edit their Textpattern site using Contribute would be great – if possible.

Re: Contribute 4 / CS3 compatibility

It should/may be possible. I know various users have trouble with XML-RPC for Textpattern, but, Pedro wrote it, and I haven’t had time to learn how it works, nevermind fix anything in it. So, I would recommend trying it out with a test installation.

Re: Contribute 4 / CS3 compatibility

Thanks Mary, I’ll give it a go – I’m currently re-doing the News section of my own site with TXP so when I’m done I’ll download a trial version of Contribute and see how it goes. I’ll report back incase anyone else is interested.
