New to TXP and of course... install problems
Hi all
I just like to say hi and say how much i am impressed with TXP simplicity and its huge power.
i was going to install a diffrent CMS but hey TXP looked more search engine friendly yo me.
I have installed the package into my hosting servers and all works
i passed the DB and admin setup.
now when i click on diagnostics:
i get this error message
“The following PHP functions (which may be necessary to run Textpattern) are disabled on your server: ini_alter,system,passthru,shell_exec,leak,listen,chgrp,apache_setenv,define_syslog_variables,openlog,syslog,ftp_exec”
i searched the FAQ and as it said if some of the functions doesnt appear in the A MUST and in the NOT NEEDED list i should post here
so here i am
it seems that the commands:listen,define_syslog_variables
are not listed on those two lists.
so what should i do? can i continue play with TXP or there is a critical problem?
