Comments right on static section page?
Hi,
I have a couple of static pages that each function as a section with a single article as per the instructions elsewhere.
But the comment invitation only shows up as a link to the article permalink page. I want to use the static page as a kind of guestbook and would like the comment form to show up directly on the section page when I visit e.g. www.mysite.com/guestbook — and not only when I click the link and go to www.mysite.com/guestbook/guestbookarticle#comments.
Is this possible? Thanks for any help.

Yes it is possible, if you turn ‘Automatically append comments to articles’ off (in Admin> Preferences), and use the comments tags in your article form, as explained here.

Thank you very much! I was certain that Textpattern could do this and that I was just not smart enough to figure out how. Luckily other people are… :)
I’ve just begun to experiment with the system and it keeps amazing me.
