Customize comment-errors output?

On my website I use a colorful preview of comments, because a lot of commenters click “preview” and then do not realize that they have to click again to submit the comment. I like this option and I would like to keep it, however, I have to questions:

  • I would like the submit button to have a different style than the preview-button. How can I do this? (Both have the same class…)
  • If you submit a comment, my customized preview displays a list of things you should check: Typos, correct e-mail-address, etc. This customized preview is included into “comments_display”-form (type: article). I would like to include into this list possible error messages, too. However, they only display in the “comments_form”-form (type: comment). Is there a way to include the comment-errors into my preview?
  • Can I hide the submit-button, if there are errors and how?

Thanks a lot,
Michael

Re: Customize comment-errors output?

Michael,

I think the setup at the bottom of this thread might help you?
