Fading out nofollows

Adding a fading out nofollow feature to comments.

(or this could be added to zem’s PR Block plugin)

Re: Fading out nofollows

Why should outgoing links in comments (or wiki pages, for that matter) be considered less valuable than links from blog posts?

Because when I write a log, it’s my log, on my site. I can control whoever I want to give a backlink (which is a better currency than most things, these days) and how I want to dilute them.

But as a plugin, yup for some people or some websites that would be helpful.

Re: Fading out nofollows

It’s definitely part of a larger philosophical discussion on linking, but I just thought I’d throw it out there.

Re: Fading out nofollows

Interesting idea, but yes, it likely won’t go into the core.
