Possible to do three category sections; like Baekdal.com?

Hi,

I have read (but not quite understood) article grouping and I am wodinger if it it possible to create something like this with Textpattern:

Baekdal.com -(arcive link have three columns with different content. Like magazine columns, or categories, or whatever you want to call it. Is it possible to created this behaviour with Textpattern, and how? And is it possible to get separate news feeds for the coumns? -and a “everything” feed as well?

One of maybe a fistful of architectural solutions for that requirement would be to define a separate Textpattern section for each of those columns, post articles to one of these three sections, and compose the frontpage with a set of three article_custom tags, each of them pulling articles from one of those sections onto the front page.

Thanks again for replying to my posts, wet. :) Could you provide more details on how to use sections in Textpattern?
