document_root does not match path_to_site

I’ve been trying to get the zem_ir plugin to work for my site but my document_root is totally different:
/usr/local/apache/htdocs/

Its possible that the textpattern I copied over was originally sitting on my computer. How can I change my document_root now that I have installed Textpattern. I also checked another site on the same host (site5) which shows matching document_root and path_to_site.

Any ideas, i’ve done a good deal of searching and the only suggestion I’ve found is to reinstall and copy & paste, is that true?

lol, i was searching for more answers and when i read my own post i thought someone else was in the exact same predicament. anyway, i fixed it by reinstalling txp and importing the database.

Do i jeapordize anything by not copying the Textpattern directory as well??
