section and if_section disagree, totally confused
Hi,
I think I’m having a really weird problem. I’m trying to only show the author and date in articles in the “news” section.
If I use txp:if_section name=“news” then it doesn’t show up in the news section but does show up in some but not all of the other sections.
If I call txp:section it reports that it is in the “news” section.
I generally like to think I know what I’m doing technically but either my setup is really bust or I’m doing something really stupid.
Any help much appreciated.

Where and how are you using <txp:if_section>? Page, form? Can you give us the context and complete code please?

Re: section and if_section disagree, totally confused
Thanks for that, those are both very helpful links and I’m sure they’ll come in handy in the future.
However, after looking at the problem again with fresh eyes after a weekend away, it turns out I was, as I half suspected, just being stupid. I had used this:
<txp:if_section="news">
instead of this:
<txp:if_section name="news">
and despite staring at it for about an hour, didn’t realise what I’d left out.
Thanks again
