Re: touch screen demo

Yep… I saw it some time ago here . It seems that we have to learn dance moves if we are to survive in the next generation interactive environments

Re: touch screen demo

Kind of neat to play with that on your own, but really distracting and doesn’t add anything helpful to the presentation. Looks like “Earth Final Conflict” fanboi-ism with a budget.

Re: touch screen demo

There have been a lot of studies to suggest that screen size can make a massive difference in workflow and productivity. I think, given the right setup, one could really utilize a large screen and this interface to work in some really fluid ways?

It’s just too expensive. I’ll take at least another 5 Years, until it hit’s the market and ship’s from chinese factories.
Sofar, the only Suppliers are only Military Officials.

But then may be MS Office would be available for 99 cents at the grocery store.

What I kept on thinking was, how much it could boost performance if this kind of functionality would be integrated in software Apps like Photoshop and Illustrator.

Also intersting is the fact, that the basic keyboard is not eliminated, as a User Interface but instead augmented, that is a tremendous Idea, imagine having hundreds of possible virtual interfaces, not only keyboards. That could save a lot in harware cost as well.
